Navigator PickIT
Navigator PickIT (formerley Star-PickIT) is an efficient, cost-effective order picking solution based on Datalogic's
Star-System and Memor terminals. Using a portable terminal connected wirelessly to our server software, the actions of picking staff can be tightly controlled to prevent
errors and improve productivity.
System Overview

System users are equiped with a Datalogic F725 or Memor Terminal.

As a user logs in, they are allocated an order (or re-allocated an "in-progress" order).

The user is presented with a summary of the order showing the number of lines to go, customer code and their current zone.

The scanner wirelessly requests the 'next line' to pick based on a pre-defined sequence and presents this to the user.
- Sequences can be based on location pick sequence or part number.

Each product picked is scanned. The mobile computer ensures that the scanned barcode matches the product code on the pick
slip and that the product has not been "over picked", presenting the user with error messages in real-time.

Pick records are transmitted back to the server and updated in real time, giving the warehouse manager a real-time view of
warehouse operations.

Finally, a dispatch note is printed for dispatch with the goods.

Periodically, Navigator PickIT synchronises picked items with the accounting server and downloads new picks for processing.

Navigator PickIT
The Navigator PickIT solution saves time and money by ensuring the accuracy of dispatched goods and offers
a vast improvement in processing time by removing paper from your pick floor. The solution includes all of the hardware and software required
to accurately pick and dispatch items from your warehouse:.

- Accessories, including chargers and cables.

Star-PickIt is currently being used by Prouds Jewellers, Angus & Coote Jewellers and Pascoes
Jewellers in New Zealand to control the distribution of stock to over 300 stores.
In peak times Star-PickIt has controlled the movement
of some 50,000 stock items per day.
Navigator-PickIt is used by Splosh Homewares in their Brisbane warehouse to distribute stock to their customers.
The system interfaces LIVE to MYOB Accounting with pickslips available for picking within seconds of order entry.
