Navigator Mobile Sales is a complete solution for managing the ordering process
for staff at trade shows, field representatives and on the showroom floor.
Mobile Sales records customer, product and payment details and allows sales
staff to view stock availability, provide customer-specific pricing and print
professional Tax Invoices using mobile thermal and dot-matrix printers.
Generated sales orders can be transferred automatically to your accounting system
or sent to Navigator WMS for picking in the warehouse. For van-sales, Mobile Sales
allows you to generate replenishment orders in the WMS.
Sales Order Processing - System Overview
- Each salesman is equipped with a mobile terminal containing information on their
customers and related quotations as well as a complete product catalogue.
- Upon arrival at a customer site, the salesman selects the customer from a list or
scans a customer barcode at the premises and enters a purchase order number
to generate a sales order.
- Each product is scanned onto the order - either off the truck or from stock remaining on the shelf.
- Pricing is automatically taken from the product list (RRP) or from a negotiated price
(Quotation).
- A Tax Invoice is printed via a vehicle (full size multi-part paper) or belt mounted (thermal receipt paper) printer.
- The representative receives an on screen signature from the customer.
- The sales order is stored electronically on the terminal for later upload to your accounting system.
- Once users arrive back at the depot, data is wirelessly synchronised with the server.
Benefits
Navigator Mobile Sales allows your staff to record data once - at
the point where it is generated. Replace illegible, hand-written docket
with professionally printed legible tax invoices - on site.
The barcode scanner removes guesswork by automatically comparing the barcode scanned
against the on-board pricelist and customer list. Sale price and quantity is keyed into the terminal allowing for automated
checking of maximum/minimum sale prices and volumes.
Automatic transfer to your accounting system reduces the delay between
order acceptance and order picking - all without introducing human error.

Additional Modules:
Record Quotations
Using our online quotation solution, representatives can build price lists for each
customer. Customer-negotiated pricing is automatically used when processing sales
orders in the field.
Take Orders and Schedule Deliveries
Representatives can take future dated orders rather than creating sales orders on
site. Navigator WMS creates pick slips on the day of the delivery for each sales representative
to ensure that the salesmen has enough stock for his scheduled deliveries.
Returns
The solution tracks warranty claims for items picked up by sales representatives
and returned to inventory.
Consignment Stock
Use Navigator Mobile Sales to record the delivery and return of consignment
stock.
